Data Subject Request Form

This page explains the procedure to follow when exercising your rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, in accordance with the Turkish Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.

1. Right to apply

You may send us requests concerning your personal data in our capacity as data controller. Your application is free of charge; however, depending on the nature of the request, the fee tariff set out in the Communiqué may apply.

2. How to apply

You may submit your application in Turkish through one of the following routes:

  • By sending a wet-signed petition, together with documents proving your identity, to our business address in person or through a notary
  • By e-mailing yasal@davetcepte.com from the e-mail address registered in our system
  • By sending a document signed with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature to yasal@davetcepte.com
  • By sending a message from your registered electronic mail (KEP) address to our KEP address

Requests made by phone, social media message or comment do not constitute a valid application under the Communiqué. Applications where identity cannot be verified cannot be answered, for security reasons.

3. Information your application must contain

So that your application can be assessed, please provide the following in full:

Subject of the requestWhich of the rights in Article 11 of the Law you wish to exercise, with a clear description of your request
SignatureWet signature for written applications; secure electronic signature or registered e-mail for electronic ones

Attaching the information and documents relevant to your request (for example the invitation link, order date or correspondence) helps us conclude your application faster.

4. Response time and fees

  • Your application is concluded as soon as possible depending on its nature, and in any event within thirty days at the latest.
  • The response is sent in writing to the address you specify, or via registered electronic mail, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or the e-mail address registered in our system.
  • If the process does not entail an additional cost, the response is free of charge. If the response exceeds ten pages, the fee set out in the Communiqué may be charged per page; if it is provided on a recording medium such as a CD or flash drive, the cost of that medium may be charged.
  • If the application arises from the data controller's own error, any fee charged is refunded.

5. Complaint to the Board

If your application is rejected, if you find the response insufficient, or if no response is given within the applicable period, you may lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board within thirty days of learning the response and in any event within sixty days of the application date. A complaint cannot be lodged with the Board before the application route to the data controller has been exhausted.
